About
What is United for Christ?
United by Christ is an open Catholic community where, guided by the same divine vocation, we gather to accompany each other in the search for holiness. We always seek to be a welcoming and persevering community that, with authenticity, aspires to bring faith to daily life and to know ourselves as beloved children of God, reflecting this through prayer and recurring participation in the sacraments of the Holy Eucharist and Penance. We commit ourselves to constant formation, both at a group and individual level, based on the Gospels and on that recommended by the Church; responding at the same time to the call of every baptized person: evangelization. We are currently forming the youth ministry of the Santa Elena de las Condes Parish.
How was United for Christ born?
The birth of Unidos por Cristo began as a mere idea among some friends who, about to graduate, longed to extend their spiritual search beyond the classrooms and university pastorals. As time went by, the urgent need to offer continuity to those believers who lacked a diocesan community or charismatic affiliation was perceived.
It was a year later that God manifested himself, sending people at exact moments as instruments to give life to this great community. The milestone that marks the palpable beginning of this journey was the first "Rezatón", celebrated on September 3, 2022. Since then, the community began to take shape, evidencing the clear and loving presence of Divine Providence, which made possible this work of love and unity, forged in the ardent desire to respond to the Lord's call.
What do we do?
At "United for Christ" we strive to integrate faith into everyday life, offering various activities of prayer, formation and evangelization. In the area of prayer, we highlight the Rezatón, our first and significant activity, where we gather to pray the rosary. In addition, we have sung adoration, lectio divina, caravans to mass, a motivating accompaniment to encourage frequent participation in the Holy Eucharist, Advent preparation retreats and Santi-Coffee, an initiative that combines spontaneous adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with moments of fellowship while enjoying a "coffee."
In terms of training, we have held series of talks and discussions. In the area of evangelization, we are currently working to be able to offer evangelizing activities. The vision is that, being aware of the love of Christ, the community itself proposes initiatives to get closer to God, to deepen its knowledge and to share the immense joy that comes from knowing that we are loved by Him.

Why the motto?
Our motto, “United in Christ, let us be salt and light of the world!”, takes its inspiration from the Holy Gospel according to Saint Matthew 5, 13-16, displayed on the first page. This motto seeks to be a timeless call to action that urges us to remember that the Living Word comes alive when we share it. It challenges us to overcome shyness and share our faith with courage and perseverance, spreading the joy that emanates from Divine Mercy and God’s eternal love for us. This motto is more than a reminder; it is a commitment to authenticity, a call to live in a way that honors God in every step, striving toward holiness. United in Christ, may we be the salt that seasons and the light that illuminates, radiating the love and hope that only comes from our eternal Lord.
